I’m really tired so I’m gonna make this short… sorry!
At any rate, today I finished the painting/collage I posted about yesterday. Last night after the mid-tone dried, I painted the lightest tone…. but the sample jar I was using actually ended up DARKER than the mid-tone. I ended up painting it all anyways, just so it would be even, and then I painted over it with a lighter color today. Then, I just painted the darkest color and I was done!! Here’s the final product, with and without flash.
Can you tell what it is?? It’s extremely abstracted and the image was taken at a sort of different angle. I’ll give you a hint: It’s an instrument!

Give up?
Here’s the original image after adjusting it in Photoshop.
Can you tell what it is? It’s a horn!! I used sort of different colors and it ended up even more distorted in my interpretation of it, but I like it!
I made this for my mom for Mother’s Day! Yes, I know. Mother’s Day already happened. BUT I started this BEFORE Mother’s Day and I knew that I wasn’t going to see her until after. So, yeah… it’s done now! BTW my mom plays horn, so I thought this was appropriate! I hope she likes it!

I’m truly enjoying the design and layout of your blog. It’s a very easy on the eyes which makes it much more enjoyable for me to come here and visit more often. Did you hire out a designer to create your theme? Exceptional work!
Thanks! I’m glad you like it! To answer your question about if I hired a designer… Yes and no. LOL I drew up the header and picked out which colors I wanted everything to be. Then I looked through a bunch of layouts until I found one I liked and sent all of this stuff to my dad, who is a graphic artist. He plugged everything in the way I wanted him to, but I didn’t have to pay!
